Duarte Gomes is part of the cast of the Brazilian film “Vermelho Monet” by director Halder Gomes. The feature film premiered at the 13th edition of FESTin – Portuguese Language Itinerant Film Festival and was the big winner of the event, winning the award for Best Fiction Film, Best Director and Best Actor (Chico Diaz). “Vermelho Monet” tells the story of Johannes Van Almeida, a painter who decides to restart his life in Lisbon. In addition to Duarte Gomes, the film features interpretations by Maria Fernanda Cândido, Chico Diaz, Samantha Muller, Matamba Joaquim, Gracinda Nave, among others, in a co-production between Brazil and Portugal, by Ukbar Filmes.
