The actresses Marta Faial and Maura Faial, both represented by the Karacter Agency, are nominated for the Luanda Fashion Trophies in the category of Best Actress. The 21st edition of the most prestigious Angolan cultural event will take place on 30 and 31 March in Luanda Bay, where awards will be presented to the professionals who stood out in 2017 in the areas of Cinema & Television and Fashion & Music. Marta Faial is nominated for the role of Leila in the telenovela “A Única Mulher” and Maura Faial for her role as the villain Vita in the second season of the same TVI soap opera.
This is not the first time that both actresses are nominated for these awards, with Marta Faial already winning the award in 2015 for her performance in the Angolan telenovela “Jikulumessu” and Maura Faial was awarded last year for the role she played in “The only woman”.
