Actor Miguel Mateus is part of the cast of the series “O Americano”. Inspired by real events, the plot is based on the life of Faustino Cavaco and his prison escape in a series of 8 episodes. “O Americano” is a production by APM – Actions Per Minute for RTP1, directed by Ivo M. Ferreira, who also wrote the script alongside Bruno Vieira Amaral and Hélder Beja. It premieres on December 2nd on RTP1 and RTP Play.
