Actor Miguel Mateus is part of the cast of the film “Soares é Fixe” produced by Sky Dreams Entertainment. The first cinematographic work of fiction about Mário Soares is directed by Sérgio Graciano and hits cinemas on February 22, in the year that marks the centenary of the birth of the former Prime Minister and President of the Republic. With an argument by João Lacerda Matos, the “biopic” revisits and portrays the historical drama of one of the most important moments in his political life, in what was also one of the most intense and media-driven electoral campaigns in Portugal, characterized by the iconic slogan which intended to bring closer the socialist candidate of the younger electorate. The cast includes Miguel Mateus in the role of João Soares, Tónan Quito (Mário Sores), Margarida Cardeal (Maria Barroso), Tiago Fernandes (Freitas do Amaral) and Tiago Correia (Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa).
